Description

There's a huge lot of curious stuff out there in space, my dear friends. Like this COROT-7b extra-terrestrial planet.
It orbits its star so closely that the temperature at the day side of the planet exceeds 2000 degrees Celsius. That's enough to vaporize rocks off the planet's surface. The gasses then rise until they reach the relatively cold parts of the atmosphere, where some sort of "rock clouds" is formed. The vapour condenses into little pebbles which rain down on the surface.
Yu can read more about this amusing little planet at [link]

I just wondered what a manned mission to such planet might look like.
